1    1841 census - a schoolmaster in Brompton, Catterick. He appears to be married, to Elizabeth.
      1861 census - a labourer in Bishopwearmouth. Married to Elizabeth.
      1871 census - a gardener in Bishop Wearmouth. His wife Eliza(beth) is paralysed.
